존키칼럼; 국민들을 위한 국민당 정부의 지속적인 노력

2015년이 마무리 되어 가는 가운데, 국민당 정부는 여전히 뉴질랜드 국민들과 그들의 가정을 위해 바쁘게 일하며, 변화를 가져다 줄 몇 가지 사안들을 발표 하였습니다.
지난 주, Nikki Kaye ACC (사고보험) 장관은 내년에 더 낮은 ACC 부과금을 통해 더 많은 돈을 국민들에게 돌려줄 것이라고 발표 했습니다.
내년 7월 1일부터, 차량 소유자들은 ACC 차량 부과금 인하로 인해 대략 $65의 이득을 볼 것입니다. 이 것은 올 해 변화로 인해 평균 $135의 이득을 본 것에 더해질 것으로 예상 됩니다.
즉, 면허 부과금이나 주유 부과금과 같은 차량과 관련 된 ACC 부과금은 대략 연 $330에서 $130로 인하 된 것입니다.
2012년도 부터 국민당 정부는 낮은 부과금으로 인해 뉴질랜드 국민들에게 매년 $1.5 billion을 되돌려 주었습니다. 내년에 있을 변화들로 인해 이제 이 금액은 $2 billion이 될 것입니다.
이 뜻은 가정들, 비지니스들, 고용주들, 그리고 개인 고용주들은 낮은 부과금을 낼 것이며, 뉴질랜드 국민들과 그들의 가정은 정부의 신중한 ACC 재정 관리를 통한 혜택을 볼 것입니다.
지난 주, 뉴질랜드와 한국의 자유무역협정이 12월 20일 공식적으로 발효될 것이라고 발표 되었습니다.
이것은 뉴질랜드 수출업 사업이 세계 경제 13위인 한국에서 성장하는 것에 도움이 될 것입니다. 이번 자유무역협정을 통해 뉴질랜드의 수출의 관세가 대략 98% 가량 점차적으로 폐지될 것입니다.
이번 협정은 뉴질랜드와 한국에 상당한 경제 이득을 가져다 줄 것입니다. 또한 두 나라의 관계를 다져 줄 초석이 될 것입니다.
올해를 시작하며, 저는 정부가 뉴질랜드 국민들을 위해 공공지원주택 공급을 확대하기 위해 노력할 것이라고 발표 했으며, 특별히 높은 수요를 나타내는 오클랜드 지역에 집중할 것이라고 발표 했습니다.
지난 주, 저희는 몇가지 중요한 진전이 있었다고 발표 했으며, 다섯 군데의 사회주택 공급자들이 향후 3년간 500채 이상의 공공 주택을 공급할 것이라고 발표 했습니다.
저희는 또한 지난 몇 주간, 결장경 검사를 위한 더 많은 투자, 아시아 국가들에서 연구를 진행하거나 인터쉽을 하는 152명의 학생들을 위한 장학금, 그리고 이제 전국적으로 20만 비지니스들이 광대역에 연결할 수 있다고 발표 했습니다.

National continues to deliver for Kiwis
Although 2015 is rapidly coming to a close, the National-led Government is still busy making a number of announcements that will make a difference to Kiwis and their families.
Last week, ACC Minister Nikki Kaye announced the Government will put more money back in New Zealanders’ pockets next year through lower ACC levies.
From 1 July next year, vehicle owners will be almost $65 better off on average a year through further reductions to ACC motor vehicle levies. This is in addition to the $135 on average they are already saving a year after changes we made this year.
This means the annual average cost of ACC levies associated with a vehicle, including the licence levy and petrol levy, has dropped from around $330 a year to around $130 over two years.
Since 2012, the National-led Government has put around $1.5 billion a year back into New Zealanders’ pockets through lower ACC levies. With these changes next year, that will increase to almost $2 billion.
This means households, businesses, employers, and the self-employed will pay lower levies, and New Zealanders and their families will be better off thanks to the Government’s careful financial management of ACC.
Last week, it was announced the New Zealand-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) will come into effect in just a few days’ time - on 20 December 2015.
This will help New Zealand exporters to grow their business in Korea, which is the world’s 13th largest economy. Under this agreement, around 98 per cent of tariffs on New Zealand’s current exports to Korea will be progressively eliminated.
This agreement will deliver significant economic benefits for both New Zealand and Korea. It also lays the groundwork for an even closer relationship between our countries in the future.
At the start of this year, I outlined the Government was focused on improving the supply of social housing for New Zealanders in need, particularly in high demand areas like Auckland.
Last week, we announced some important progress, with five registered community housing providers to deliver more than 500 new social housing places over the next three years.
Over the past week or so, we’ve also announced more funding for colonoscopy services, another 152 students will receive scholarships to study, conduct research, or take up internships in Asian countries, and 200,000 businesses across New Zealand are now able to connect to ultra-fast broadband.
All of these announcements show the National-led Government remains focused on working hard for all New Zealanders and their families.
